Leisure care seattle

There were three general managers, three sales managers and two nursing managers during her stay at Springfield Place. The mid level employees had longevity and they put their heart and soul into the residents.

The worst part was that the nursing manager, Sonia, delayed Hospice in giving pain meds to my mom for three days towards the end of her life. My mom was in such pain because of this that she hit her alert button and the paramedics came on a Sunday morning, just three days before she passed away. My mom was active and enjoyed good health most of the time she lived at Springfield Place. She was denied good care when she needed it the most.

I hope you consider our experiences when making your decisions and I hope that this sort of experience never happens to your loved ones. CNA are overworked and underpaid, staff is very loyal but management ignores their concerns.

Puts money over well being. Was this review helpful? Report Share. They practice amazing teamwork and are always willing to lend a hand. The residents are such a hoot! No matter the day the residents are always teaching me something new whether it be about life or about myself.

The Residents were about the only upside. Management was bad. Residents were the highlight of working. Management often would not know what they were doing and shifts would be under staffed. It was a lot to handle especially when you work multiple jobs. The pay is just not worth it. Pros Residents. Cons Management, Behaviors of Workers, Scheduling. Fun place to work. Management went above and beyond to help and train their staff.

I was promoted to Area Supervisor shortly after working there. It was busy but very rewarding. Loved that they packed the first 10 min break with the lunch so everyone had a 40 min lunch. Very helpful when you have navigate a busy park to go buy lunch. I learned so much from management and from the other Supervisors. I would go back again if ever given the chance. I left in Pros Discounted lunches, bonuses on top of hourly wage, great environment. Cons Make sure you eat or you're going to have a bad time.

Poorly management. A lot of talk but no action. Shortage of staff, mostly due to low wages across the board. Place is in need for a major change for who is left to make a go of the situation. Cons lunch only break! Your experience matters. Help out others considering your employer. Rate your employer. Company has changed in past 2 years. They do not want to spend money, it is all about saving money.

During Covid the clean air equipment did not work, broken for 8 years. Still not fixed, quotes for repairs go unsigned. Could be a good company if they paid the staff who actually do the work instead of giving their Corporate level people 6 figure.

Pros The residents, some staff, made good friends. It couldn't get any worse, stay away. This company is false advertising. Walking in, it seems like a fun, fair and enjoyable place to work but once you're in, it's a whole different story. Management is horrible, everyone does not get the same treatment or discipline.

If you have connections or relationships with management you get away with everything. During the pandemic the employees were shown no appreciation, in fact they withheld raises and any other perks. Workplace culture is toxic, management criticizes your personal life which has nothing to do with your work ethic. This place only cares about taking credit for your hard work.

Pay is horrible, overtime is tampered with, you can work over 80 hours and not see any extra money due to how the schedule and pay period interferes. They expect five star above and beyond service while paying you pocket change, horrible. Pros none. Cons everything. Leisure Care was my introduction to senior retirement living many years ago and I haven't left since I joined.

The culture and the people have been a huge part of why I am still here. Everyone is happy and they work as a team. Everyone is here for one goal, to give our residents the best possible service while having fun doing it. The support is amazing and I never feel that I am not valued.

If you are looking for a fun and that "cant wait to go to work" feeling , then Leisure Care is it! I have worked for Leisure Care for almost 14 years and I have never seen a company care more about their employees than they do.

They have made culture a focus and it shows. As a company, Leisure Care is continuously evolving and looking for ways to be innovative. This gives employees the opportunities to grow and learn professionally. They are always looking to further train employees and provide opportunities for growth within the company. The amount of emphasis put on customer service is amazing. If you want to work for a company that truly cares about providing the best service for their residents, family members, guests and employees then this is it!
